FISHING on the North Fork River

This is catch-and-release fishing at its best with no stocking, just naturally sustained trout that draw anglers from across the country.

Our property is tucked deep in the North Fork River valley of the Missouri Ozarks. Every structure here is surrounded by forest with distance between you and your closest neighboring cabin.


With minimal artificial light reaching from distant towns, the stars shine brighter, clearer, and closer than most guests have experienced in years.


On clear nights, you can often see:

  • The Milky Way stretching across the sky
  • Meteor showers throughout the seasons
  • Constellations normally hidden by city glow
  • A depth of stars that feels almost unreal

EXPERIENCE THE NIGHT with Us

Stargazing here doesn’t require a telescope or a plan, just a quiet place to look up. Guests often enjoy the night sky from their private cabin decks. Shutting off all interior and exterior cabin lights will reduce light pollution for an amazing look at the night sky.


Open meadow views are also ideal for guests wanting to enjoy stargazing. Perfect for blankets and late-night conversations, we provide the space for the best stargazing spots. Ask at the front desk for a map to the best locations on our property.

Looking for a scenic drive or a quiet place to explore beyond your cabin? Several of Missouri’s most beautiful historic grist mills are located within the Ozarks just a short drive from River of Life Farm. These preserved water-powered mills offer a glimpse into the region’s early history and are perfect for sightseeing, photography, and peaceful afternoon outings.

Thursday Evening to Sunday Evening Only

Our Lodge offers freshly prepared meals in a peaceful setting, just a short walk or drive from your cabin.


Guests can dine at the Lodge or choose carryout to enjoy in the privacy of their cabin, whether that’s a quiet dinner for two or a meal shared with family after a day on the river.



Because of our remote location and limited seating, dining is by reservation only.
