Fishing
History/Background
I grew up just down
stream a ROLF and have fished the North
Fork and the Bryant Creek since I was
able to hold a fishing rod and dangle my
legs off the bridge at the same time.
Soon I learned I could tie nymphs and
not dig worms, and my fly fishing
passion was born.
With 15+ years of
exploring, floating, camping, and
fishing the North Fork and Bryant under
my Missouri State Biology degree belt; I
can offer you a one of a kind river
experience. On a trip in the Longboat,
you will not only catch fish but we can
learn what drives the ecosystem of the
stream we are floating on. We can ID
birds, trees, plants use what ever
crosses our path as a learning
opportunity.
Fishing
I fish everything.
From the trout you come to River of Life
Farm to pursue, to the big catfish and
bass over the hill on the Bryant Creek.
I can customize what ever type of trip
you would like. One favorite are
campout fishing trip for smallmouth in
the evening then camping out to wake up
to hungry trout in the morning. Another
favorite is the overnighter on the
Bryant Creek. Catch smallmouth and
largemouth bass by day and then channel
and flathead catfish by night.
What you need to
bring
All the fishing
gear you have, patience, all the
questions you ever had, and a clear
direction on what you expect out of your
trip.
