Camping and RV Services on the North Fork River

Imagine yourself camping and making the River of Life Farm your base camp for fly fishing the North Fork River. Your roof will be the canopy of a hardwood forest. There are picnic tables, and fire pits* to take the "rough" out of roughing it. A short walk will take you to a hot shower and bathroom facilities with running water.

There will NOT be a large, loud group on the site disturbing your stay. The only thing you'll hear is the bubbling North Fork, and maybe your fire crackling.

You can make it happen. With the reservation of a canoe, Fishing Package (call for details), or Planned Retreat (call for details) we'll be happy to book you a spot in the ONLY campground within the Missouri Wild Trout Management Area. Here you'll have exclusive entry to over one mile of private river bank of the North Fork River, ranked in the top 100 trout streams in the USA. You'll also have access to the "Falls," the icon of the North Fork and all Missouri Ozark Rivers. All this within 120 private acres, for your hiking pleasure. At the ROLF you'll avoid the common problems of overcrowding, noisy neighbors, and other pitfalls of public and private campgrounds.

Camping Rates Camping is NOW OPEN!

Camping at the ROLF is $10 per person for 2 or more nights ($12 per person for one night).
Children 5-11 are $4 per night.
We furnish hot showers, flush toilets, fire rings, firewood, grills, picnic tables, and privacy that you won't find at any other campground on the North Fork River.

Campers who want to wade fish without renting a canoe
will be charged a $22 per day fishing access fee. *

You are welcome to bring your own boat to the ROLF
- access & shuttle fee $22.00 per boat.

Do you need some lodging accommodations for certain members of your group? The Eagle's Nest Lodge is located next to the campgrounds for easy access.

The Eagle's Nest Lodge is the perfect place to have mixed camping/lodging group reunions. Its close proximity to the campground, shower house/restrooms, and full hook-up R. V. sites makes it the perfect place to host your large gathering.

RV Hookups

The River of Life Farm offers a limited number of 50 amp RV hookups. The hookups are positioned allowing excellent access to the North Fork River.

The rate is $15 per day in addition to normal camping fees.

ROLF Camping Policy and Rules

While camping at the ROLF on the North Fork River, we request that all campers observe "quiet" hours between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. Absolutely no fireworks, loud music, loud parties, or loud vehicles are allowed. Firearms are not lawful or tolerated unless the carrier has a permit to carry a concealed weapon. Campfires are allowed only in designated areas. Abuse of adult beverages is discouraged. If you bring a pet, it must be leashed and kept quite at all times. Please observe the rights and privacy of your fellow campers.

* Not all campers automatically have fly fishing access to the "miracle mile" of the Wild Trout Management Area
(it depends on the package you sign up for).
This policy is controlled and guarantees that not too many fly fisherman are on the river at once, ensuring all guests the utmost private pleasurable experience.

Remember, we are the ONLY campground that offers
wade fly fishing access to the Wild Trout Management Area
of the North Fork River.
Reservations are subject to approval and limited.
Please call early to book reservations for your family oriented, or fly fishing group. Church groups and organizations, such as the Boy Scouts of America, are also encouraged to call for details.
