The
Missouri Deaf Fly Fishermen (MDFF) love your place. It's the best we've ever seen. The
North Fork River is so beautiful. Of course, we'll be back again sometime in the summer or
early autumn, which is a good time for Brown trout.
We, the Mo. Deaf Fly Fisher had a great time and caught many rainbow and brown trout.
Cecil Scantlin caught 8 trout, a mixture of rainbow and brown, measuring 8 to 12 inches.
Greg Zinn, Sr landed another 3 trout. Cecil and Greg caught
their trout using double shell-back (desert-camouflage color) and Bend-back Damsel
(olive-color with olive glittered rubber-legs ) flys.
Close to a big boulder, near midstream, is where I caught a nice
brown trout that measured 16 to 17 inches. The best part of it was that I caught it on a
Black Rubber-leg fly, tied by Myron's 14 year old daughter. Tell your daughter thanks for
helping me land the big one.
Catching that trout was an awesome experience!!! One of the best
I've ever went through !!! The rest didn't get their chance to catch a trophy, after the
weather turned so cold, along with the sleet, hail, rain, and snow we got that day.
Fantastic Paradise for Fly Fishermen to be at North Fork
River,,,,,, No questions asked!!!! Ha Ha Ha...
God Bless ya , Myron and Ann McKee and family !!!! |
